Dear Jeff,
Now that the dust has settled from closing out one year and starting another, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the time and effort you gave us in 2006.
We started the year with a grand plan for monthly Leadership development classes designed to enhance the performance of our leadership team here at Taco Cabana. As this plan included our multi-unit supervisors and selected Directors and Vice Presidents, we viewed it as breakthrough type training, since this group of leaders is largely left to fend for themselves where self-development is concerned.
Well, we pulled it off, and we owe much of that success to you!
Your spirited and authoritative presentations captured the minds of our Team and sent them home each month with a full box of new tools to use. These tools have already improved the targeted performance in many of the participants and their subordinates as well. As we continue to assimilate the lessons learned into our daily work by using the books, workbooks, pocket cards, and videos provided by you, we will most certainly stay on track to meet our aggressive objectives for 2007 and beyond. The groundwork you have helped us lay will be invaluable in our endeavors. I also appreciate your assistance in our 2007 monthly follow-up on the commitments made after our final session. This is outside the box and is very helpful to me personally.
